This was another illustrative portrait I did for a client recently.

I was able to try out a few new techniques on this one too. Different lighting scenario than I'm used to, but in the end it worked out. Total time spent on this piece was a little under 8 hours.

This reminds me a lot of one of my favorite chemistry professors.
He always made me think of a lab mouse-
Very nice guy, got to be good friends talking with him after class.
He just looked a bit mouse-ish- this could almost be a antho-zized portrait of him, if the hair was darker.

Love the brushwork and colors and the subtle distortion through the glasses is a great touch!
